As the marketing manager for Hotel ZaZa, I led the opening initiatives, marketing campaigns, brand pop-ups and activations, in-house events, and photo + video production as well as designed all related designs for the hotel's restaurants "Perfect Strangers" & "Group Therapy", rooftop bar & poolside, spa, and in-room needs. I created designs across for print, digital ads, events, social media, and website placements.

I had the opportunity to create Hotel ZaZa Austin's Instagram from the ground up, establishing a curated and visually cohesive feed that reflects the brand's unique personality. Through a combination of influencer partnerships, high-quality photography, and custom graphics, I crafted an aesthetic that resonates with guests and draws attention to ZaZa's luxurious, eclectic vibe. Each post was thoughtfully designed to engage followers, highlight the hotel’s distinctive atmosphere, and amplify its presence within Austin’s vibrant social scene.

Activation + Merchandise Design

I designed a line of branded merchandise with ownership aimed at defining the hotel’s unique style and building excitement within the community. Each item was thoughtfully created to reflect ZaZa’s upscale, eclectic personality, and was incorporated into local activations and events as exclusive giveaways. These community-focused efforts generated buzz and positioned ZaZa as a vibrant addition to Austin’s downtown scene. Through carefully curated merchandise, we engaged with the Austin community in a way that sparked interest and built anticipation for the hotel’s opening.

I spearheaded the design and conceptualization of special offers, room packages, holiday events, and activations to enhance the guest experience and drive engagement. Each initiative was crafted to align with the hotel’s brand identity, offering unique experiences that resonated with our clientele. From creatively themed packages that highlighted local attractions to festive holiday promotions, I focused on delivering memorable moments that encouraged guests to immerse themselves in the ZaZa lifestyle. These offerings not only elevated the guest experience but also fostered community engagement, establishing the hotel as a vibrant hub in downtown Austin.
